The Downs villages

Agricultural and estate country between the coast and the Marsh: farms and contractors around Lyminge, listed-building trades and a vineyard at Elham, machinery repairers along the A20 at Sellindge. The work is repair-driven and usually urgent, because a failed plastic part here means a machine standing still. Delivery is by arrangement and express turnaround is priced openly.

The east Kent coast

Port, marina and independent retail. Dover is close enough to deliver to the door and its work is dominated by freight, marine and quayside businesses. Deal is far enough that first-class post usually beats a round trip, and splits between High Street retail and the working shore. Both are salt-air towns, so anything living outdoors is quoted in ASA as a matter of course.

Ashford, the Marsh and Canterbury

The longer runs, and the most commercial. Ashford's business parks order jigs, fixtures and small-batch production; New Romney brings the miniature railway workshops, Marsh agriculture and holiday-park maintenance; Canterbury brings university prototyping, laboratory fixtures and city-centre retail display. Small parts go first class, larger orders by courier or an arranged drop.

Getting your parts
Three ways a printed part reaches you
There is no trade counter, so every handover is arranged. In practice that means one of three things, and which one suits you depends far more on the size of the order than on the distance.
Collection in Folkestone
Free, and the fastest option for anyone within about half an hour. We agree a time and a central spot once the part is off the plate. For small jobs confirmed early in the day that can mean collecting the same evening, and it removes a whole day from every timeline, which is why Canterbury and Ashford customers often collect when a date is tight.
Local delivery
Free on orders over £40 to Sandgate, Cheriton, Hawkinge, Saltwood, Hythe and Dover: the places within roughly fifteen minutes of the workshop. Further out, delivery is arranged rather than scheduled: we agree a day, usually when a run is already going that way. Business addresses in Ashford are delivered to the unit. There is no distance surcharge on any of it.
Post, anywhere in the UK
Small parts go first class with Royal Mail and generally arrive the next morning. Larger, heavier or fragile orders go by tracked courier. Postage is charged at what it costs us, not marked up, and it appears as a separate line rather than buried in the part price.
We print for businesses well outside this list. The fourteen pages exist because those are the places where we can also hand you the part: if you are in Maidstone, Bristol or Glasgow, nothing about the service changes except that it arrives in a jiffy bag.
Repeat orders
For anything that repeats, tell us at the quote stage. We hold the material, layer height, wall count, infill and orientation against your file, so the second batch is identical to the first and reordering is one email. Lead times
Lead time runs from the file being agreed, not from the first email. Post adds a day on top; collection does not. Express and next day carry a surcharge that is shown on the quote before you commit.
What we run
Capacity grows with demand. Anything larger than the envelope is split and bonded or redesigned, and we show you where the seam falls before printing. Full detail is on the capabilities page.
